Learning anti-inflammatory living is one of the things in life that has given me so much relief and frustration at the same time. If you want to embark in this journey, you need an open mind, lots of will, and a lot of strength.
A lot of people think that eating healthy means dieting, restricting everything and being hungry. However, I’ve personally found that when we view food and diet as a strict process, it only adds more stress and cortisol to our days. Instead, I like to have a list of foods that serve as a basis, have replacement meals instead of the basic lists of «DO NOT EAT».
The best part of this journey is that as you start following it, you will start feeling and seeing great changes in your body (less inflamation, bloating, farts, better poops… and even more). You will also start to notice your triggers. So when you eat according to your body’s needs for a certain time and your body gets used to this ( your gut!!) and eventually eating certain foods, which we can call «trigger foods» might make you feel queazy, poopy, or others. This might not sound the most appealing, but its definitely prefferable to just be feeling icky all the time eand not even know how our body reacts to certain foods.
Once again, this is not a path for the weak! Continue reading under your own jurisdiction and remember that I am only speaking from my personal experience and I am not a qualified doctor or health professional, but I think I have some information you might find intreresting.
